AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026 Launches Guiding Theme and Expands Innovation Platforms Across East and Southeast Asia

As Asia advances in agricultural transformation, the region is embracing practical innovation, digitalization, and inclusive development where farms, farmers, and future visions converge. AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026, taking place on 20–22 May 2026 at BITEC, Bangkok, responds to this momentum with a refreshed guiding theme: “Farm. Farmer. Future.

The exhibition builds on the global legacy of AGRITECHNICA in Germany, the world’s largest indoor trade fair for agricultural machinery. Now entering its sixth edition, AGRITECHNICA ASIA has established itself as Southeast Asia’s leading exhibition for crop production and mechanization. It is to date Asia’s most international agricultural trade show with a strong network that positions business development and knowledge exchange at its core.

Organized by DLG (German Agricultural Society) and co-hosted by Thailand’s Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC), the show will serve as a regional platform to accelerate agri-innovation, enable meaningful exchanges, and promote business opportunities rooted in local needs.

A Platform Built on Asia’s Priorities

AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026 focuses on context-specific advancements in crop production, mechanization, digital farming, and farmer-centered development. The show offers a growing ecosystem of events and formats that connect producers, entrepreneurs, and policymakers shaping the region’s agri-food future.

“In Southeast Asia, progress means putting technology in the hands of farmers and creating pathways for practical, scalable innovation. AGRITECHNICA ASIA is our platform to do exactly that,” says Katharina Staske, Managing Director of DLG Asia Pacific.

New Formats to Meet Growing Demand

AGRIFUTURE Zone

Future Farmer Zone

Guided Tours for Farmers & Cooperatives
Curated bilingual tours will be organized for both Thai and international groups, facilitating direct engagement with leading exhibitors, technology providers, and machinery innovators. These tours will serve as a key knowledge exchange platform for cooperatives and progressive farming communities across the region.

Awards That Celebrate Impact
For the first time, AGRITECHNICA ASIA Innovation Awards will honor breakthrough technologies adapted for Southeast Asian farms. Meanwhile, the Future Farmer Awards will highlight outstanding contributions from women, youth, and trailblazing farmer-entrepreneurs. Both awards are designed to amplify regional stories and solutions.

Co-located with HortEx Thailand

AGRITECHNICA ASIA 2026 will be co-located with HortEx Thailand, the region’s premier trade exhibition for horticultural and floricultural production and processing technology. HortEx Thailand covers everything from greenhouse solutions and propagation to post-harvest and packaging innovations, making the joint platform a comprehensive one-stop destination for crop production professionals across open field and protected cultivation systems.
